"crossing'' the bridge

 

It took time for me to complete this subject. The truth is I need to absorbed more clips and situation which connived to this article. The ideas I gathered are pretty  simple to explain, actually need not to explain anything ‘coz we know it already, we are just sometimes blinded by other factors that surrounds us and the most valuable things we owned are precisely not registering to our thoughts.

Am talking about crossing the bridge here, why “crossing?” and why “bridge?”  Even  the great wise men of their times made mistakes, scientist made accidental discoveries of valuable things that we are now using, but making that wrongfully inventions… wasn’t really a mistake at all– those are the mistakes that turns so right. “Crossing the bridge” means living from your present and travelling to the other side of the situation which you are not sure what’s waiting ahead of you, Having goals in a great progress and owning the things that we need.

When to cross and what or which bridge? Choose the bridge which is concrete, stable, solid and reliable. My best bridge?  would be my family and my friends. Having a tough journey, what we need is a tough one to be with us. Use them as an inspiration, a good model, a happy companion, a perfect advisor, a well-trained individual, a treasured persona, a brave warrior-like. Taking the first step to cross is the hardest part. This is why you need to be sure that you are crossing the bridge with braveness and a bridge that won’t let you down.

Focused what’s the real goal. Although not sure of what awaits you, aimed for the target while on the way. Pictured out the future or the things that positively turns into reality. Wanting something doesn’t come out always a prize; surely you’ll be facing troubles and tests. I mentioned mistakes @ first part; this is where it would come up. What am saying is that not to be afraid to made mistakes coz mistakes are also invented for us to do things right. Most people deliberate negative thoughts as always, every time we plan or decide something, we merely think of “what if something goes wrong”? I read a book called “the magic” (same author who does “the secret”), it says what you think is what you get! So why don’t we apply the positive thoughts instead of thinking the negative one.

Crossing the bridge is not easy, it is not hard either. We just have to choose which bridge really needs to be crossed and the most important is that we have a bridge of our own too. Allow ourselves to think what must and what must not. Take time to visualize the facts ahead you, owned it even it is not yours yet, coz by that you will have your intents a hundred percent be with you.

life is a golf!

     Experience Golf

Just hold it tight and smash! I would have to consider that facts but totally wrong. How to hold the club itself is a bit of a challenge. Positioning my entire body needs a  lot of work to do. Make sense of the wind and should be in capable of calculating the amount of force and energy to exerts. Sounds very complicated it is, but, its not as hard as it is.
My first time, not enjoyable! not my cup of tea or i should say not my kind of sport and definitely cannot be my hobby. Despite of being quite expensive, I also don't get the logic of playing it.
Because of the "famous" Facebook, browsing their photos, my friends are seemed to be enjoying the luxury of playing golf. Made me think that I might be just exaggerating and playing golf would be fun and enjoyable.
Just like playing golf, life can be defined and resolved. The golf course is my world, the club is my decision making, the golf ball is my plan, the tee is my guide, weather would be my luck and the hole is my goal.
In this crazy world I need to breath easy, hold my decision with a good grip. Have to focus on plan with good guidance. Situation has to be in smooth for a better luck of consideration. Aim for the goal and never stop when needed to start from the top.
Things don't come easy nor disappear with a snap. Whether its good or bad just get over it or smash it like a golf ball. Life sucks! true! but we don't have a choice but to suck it up. Why not play golf? it might help.

Pinoy sa UAE

Para sa mga babasa medyo offended ang ibang topic so baka tamaan ka, warning lang  na dapat open ka sa mababasa mo. Opinion ko to at observation ko. This is my experience as well so any good and bad comments are welcome.

Nasa UAE na ako since 2007, minsan lang ako nakauwi ng Pinas  4 years ago, sa tagal ko d2 sa abroad madami akong natutunan, madami akong nasaksihan, at madami din akong good and bad na karanasan. Sa katulad kong OFW, isa lang ang mahirap gawin… ang hindi ma homesick!

In my part hindi masyado kase sanay akong mag isa. Sanay din akong makisalamuha sa kahit sinong taong masalubong ko, Siguro nga talent na matatawag yun kase kahit asshole ang ugali eh kaya kong pakisamahan, hindi dahil sa plastic akong nilalang kundi professional lang kung makisama.

Example lang ng hirap ng pinoy dito sa abroad. Sentimiento ng katulad ko dito sa UAE para sa common na manggagawa ay gaya ng maliit na pasahod, nagsasama ang walong tao sa isang kwarto, with extrang surot pa! duty ng 6am so dapat at least 4am gising na para mag gayak, maligo kase madami kayo at isa lang ang banyo, mabilis na breakfast kase wala ng time kumain sa work, mag aabang ng service coaster at kung mamiss mo ang bus lagot ka sa amo mong Pana (Indiano).  Tapus ng duty ng alas 2pm. Indorse ng kung ano ano so matatapus ng mga 230pm, mag aantay ka ulit ng service maswerte na kung half an hour lang andyan na. travel time inaabot ng halos isang oras at parusa pa sa loob ng coaster kase pinag halo halong amoy ng ibang lahi na hindi mo maintindihan, dating mo sa accommodation ng alas 4pm, papahinga ka habang naglalaba ng uniform tapus plantsa habang nagluluto ng dinner kung minsan sama na ang kinabukasang breakfast.

Pagdating ng sahod dadaan lng sa palad mo yung pera kase dederetso kana sa UAE exchange or Al Ansari or ano mang Exchange para makapagpadala sa Pilipinas. Ang mga kamag anak sa Pinas malimit nagpaparamdam pag mga 3^rd week of the month kase sahod katapusan, at pag naipadala mo na ang pera minsan nakakalimot ng magtxt na nakuha na ang pera, mag tetxt ulit pag 3^rd week na ng buwan para remind ka na kelangan ng ganitong amount para sa kung ano anong gastusin. Ikaw na kinapus na sa budget kase d mo sila matiis…. Ang haba na ng listahan ng utang mo sa grocery ng Pana kase d na kinaya ng budget mo. Para dun sa mga babaeng OFW dito (pasintabi lang po sa mga tatamaan) eh ginagamit ang mga boyfriends na ibang lahi, para may extra budget sila ( di namn lahat). Sama mo na mga bakla na mayaman sa sponsors.

Lapit na vacation mo excited kana. Di kana makatulog kase pinipicture out mo na kung ano mangyayari  pag uwi mo ng Pilipinas. Syempre tradisyun na pag magbabakasyun ang pinoy dito eh kelangan may chocolate kang maiambag sa kasama mo. Sasalubong sayo mahal mo sa buhay,  pag uwi mo sa inyo sikat ka. Dami mong inaanak kahit nasa abroad ka, dumami ung kamag anak mo pati. Eto pa malupit uutangan ka agad agad, idadaan sa kwento habang nag iinuman kayo, ung ibang medyo nahihiya eh ibubulong na lamang sayo sa isang tabi. Hindi ka pedeng humindi kung meron ka kase mahihiya ka, at sasama ang loob nila sayo pang di mo napautang. Masakit pa dyan pag napahiram mo nakakalimot magbayad at gusto pang umulit (pasintabi lang sa mga maooffend )

Kahit dirhams ang kinikita dito sa UAE, dirhams din ang pinang gagastos dito, hindi madaling kumita at rumakit lalo na kung strikto ang kompanyang pinapasukan mo. Ang mga Pinoy kahit san magpunta talagang maparaan,  biggest challenge dito ay ang alak, pede kang mapauwi ng dahil nahuli kang may dalang alak sa accommodation, despite of no alcohol policy nakaklusot pa din. Andyan na ung nilalagay sa bote ng tubig or juice ang alak, hinahalo sa damit, itinatali sa bintana at hihilahin hangang kung anong floor ka man. Hindi naman malungkot mag abroad, saya nga eh, para dun sa
mga single eh sobrang maeenjoy sa abroad…lalo na dun sa mga may asawa! (pasintabi ulit sa mga tatamaan) dito lahat single kahit alam na may asawa ka, kahit alam na sampo na anak mo may mga pumapatol pa din talaga. Nakakalungkot isipin na marami rami na din talgang winasak na tahanan ang pag iibang bansa. Ang matindi pa dyan ung mga pumapatol sa mga may asawa dito ay may mga asawa din dyan sa Pinas ( uulitin ko hindi naman lahat).

Nasa ibang bansa tayo kase kelangan nating suportahan ang ating pamilya, at ang ating sarili, hindi madaling malayo sa mga mahal mo sa buhay sa Pilipinas, kung mahanap man natin ang kalinga at pagmamahal sa hindi natin asawa dapat isipin din natin na may nasasaktang ibang tao. Kung masaya ka ngayun dapat hindi magiging lungkot ang kapalit nyan bukas kase at the end of the day babalik ka pa din sa tutuo mong pamilya kawawa nman

Di ko to sinulat kase gusto ko lang, eto talaga ang nangyayari ditto sa UAE, or baka sa ibang bansa na din na may OFW, hindi ko genegeniralized ang pangyayari kase madami din naming succesfull stories ng mga Pinoy abroad, itoy batay lamang sa aking mga nakilala at naging karanasan.

the honey and the bee in me

Careful to those people who you think that cares a lot, coz he/she might be the person who will soon be the one to turn you off so badly or maybe worst.

One of my boring days, I need to do something that is more interesting and resourceful (but not making me tired J ), I don’t wanna clean up my room or do any other chores , don’t wanna go out either, besides of having a flu I am somehow lazy to do anything I end up watching a movie “Bernie’’. I am into sci-fi action addict, from the very beginning I thought this is just a very boring movie which is I need to watch coz I have nothing to do anyway.

It’s a true story turn into a movie documentary about a person who adored by everyone in their community. He make people laughs, he is very helpful, very active when it comes to enhancing and making the community a healthy environment. Positively a great person in what he do, to make the long story short, he meet a  rich woman and drag him anywhere in the world to have a class “A” vacation trip. The woman is somehow wicked and selfish and treating Bernie as she owned him. Bernie, being an angelic figure can’t take it anymore and killed the woman.

There are massive count of story like this and the reverse situation, like bad guys turn into a good guy. Movies are a mirror of what is really happening in real life world.

What occurred to me when I finished watching the movie which I thought boring is that we humans are really unpredictable, we lost ourselves sometimes and do crazy things, and we know it is not a good thing to do but we are still doing it. This is where our BEE thing coming along. We neglect the fact that we are a species that needs by everyone and everything. We forgot that each of us has our own role in making not just where we lived but the world a happy place to be.

 Bee stings and it will give you an irritating itch. What is worst? Bee can kill. Dealing with the bees? Not easy…but, thinking what they do and especially what they produced? You can’t resist but saying we need a bee in our life. Just like Bernie although I can compared him into a Honey all of his life, he is still in capable of pushing a bad situation which all of us does.

The moral of the story is that even how sweet and great person we are, still there are limitations, we strike if we need to, we stinks if we had too, (but not killing, it is just so WRONG!!!). Instead let’s embrace the sweetness of our honey and do things in a positive way. Even the baddies as* has their honey, we just had to know how deal with them and good personality will come out just naturally without pushing through it.

the TRAFFIC LIGHT...

Think a life without moving forward, without knowing when to stop, not getting ready or with and without any hesitation. For whatever that cost you, assuming u have a built-in traffic light in your system.

I was stuck in a traffic one day, and that pursued me to write about the traffic light which is I am referring in dealing with life (as we all do).

                                                                                RED

Doing something that u decides to do, or u maybe having any second thought of doing so. I personally see things as always as I could in a positive way, do a balance of what should and what should not, difficulties in making a decision is always a tough one, stressful, and sometimes drains your mind out and can’t think of anything, that’s why we choose the easiest One. And it is always a bad choice. Most of the time we asked ourselves why I did this and not this one, it is because we decide on choosing things what we think or believed is right. The red light means STOP! But for some… this means go faster. The same as dealing with anything, but instead of focusing the reality of truth that it is totally wrong, we still go for it. At the end of the day we cause ourselves a massive problem. As the red light says, stop means STOP. Otherwise you will be in deep trouble. Unavoidable situation that we need to ignore the red light, a situation like doing something which you know that will leads you to hell, but you need to do it for the sake of your own happiness or the happiness of someone you cared about. Circumstances occurs after any event, sometimes you’ll be able to see it during the event. That is what the red light says that “you need to be ready if you beat me coz ill cause you a trouble or worse.”

                                                                                YELLOW

in between the line you could be confused, this is where the climax is happening. It is answerable by a stop or go. Truly it is not précised, but it needs patience to WAIT, BE READY, or STANDBY for a while. By the end of time you will know if it’s gonna be a yes or a no. in reality, nobody wants to wait, not anyone have the time to wait, especially if you waited so long and the result is negative, life sucks sometimes but instead of hurrying up and not realizing what’s at the other side of the road, think again and learn to wait, do not just straight ahead because you might violate life’s rules that gives you to a more serious difficulties.

                                                                                GREEN

Be like a river, go with the flow… Being accurate is a good sign of having a matured personality, you know when to do full throttle, you know what needs to be done and most of all you know it is the right thing to do. Somehow the green light also gives a huge difference, because it is the decision that doesn’t requires a stagnant kind of action. Green means go and it needs to be done in any ways. Sounds dangerous but I like the fact that having a final decision means there is no turning back, moving forward can’t be successful without me looking back. Addressing the green light of our life is a real journey. It’s unpredictable what’s up ahead of our green lights so every traffic light of our lives needs to be taken seriously.

Traffic lights that you’ll see are not just some THING, it has a major purpose and by any reason it needs to be follow. It is effective, it is very helpful, and it avoids certain accidents. We all know how traffic light works, we all know what its functions, and we all know what are the color means. So why not have a traffic light for ourselves. Help us during our uncertain situation, during our hard time to think and decide, during our journey called LIFE…

the GOOD the BAD and the BOSS

Studied that 90percent of staffs in every establishment hates their boss or experienced verbal and even physical abused. How to cope with this kind of situation? Easy…

You might have a boss who acts like an animal, a boss that you like to erased the face, a bad boss, a crazy a**hole kind of boss, a boss that you don’t know what he/she really like, a boss who is so unpredictable, a freak boss, a boss that you wanna poisoned, a boss that you can’t handle to look at coz it makes u throw up, or a boss that whatever u wanna call them which is worse than I mentioned.

Working time means hell time to those who have a bad **s boss, and the good thing of having a bad boss??? It is always your subject in everything, and it is one of the funniest, like naming them into a cartoon character, a movie character, comparing them to animals by how they walks or how they talks, teasing them that they look like a sea creatures or their heads shaped like a certain fruit, the hair like a birds nest, the finger seems to be a sausages, the toes are like gingers, ect,ect.

I finished high school when I was 15 years old; I took off from our province to be @ the capital (Manila) after graduation, I went to a vocational school back then and that time I really wanna work so that I could earn by my own, after a year in school I got bored and look for a job. My uncle’s sister is one of the managers in a 24 hrs convenience store. It was easy for me to be hired that time considering the situation.

I was only 16 and legally am not in capable of having a full time job that time, so I had my age faked for me to accomplished all the company requirements and job related clearances.

My first boss was one of the amazing bosses ever. Can’t forget what she’s always telling us that “it shouldn’t be just fine, it has to be perfect’’.  Well, she wasn’t that tough, it wasn’t hard dealing with her actually, she was always in the front line. If I may recall, the only thing that pissed us off that time was the logbook. We call it “the magazine”. She has like 5 pages of shift turn overs and all of it is so elementary! Like it is so easy to do and that’s what we need to do every day, but her way of writing them in a very detailed way is just funny.

The worse boss I ever had was when I worked as a bartender in a Japanese restaurant along Makati Ave. Worse scenario was I have an over ripe almost decayed mango in my hand and throw it into my boss’s uniform in his tweety bird necktie @ the dining area. He was screaming like a prostitute diva who didn’t get paid by his customer (he is gay btw). I made a resignation on the spot and left. It was the dark side of me who could do such thing, he is wicked, he always see things in a wrong way, he got lots of staff complains but he is so clever enough to stay standing and still running the restaurant, we don’t know that time how he does that but what I’ve learned from him is that “not to become like him”.

Bad Boss always sees the wrong thing, imagine you made a 100 task for the day, 99 of them you’ve done it perfectly, that 1 thing that u got it wrong, you are in a hot seat with live electricity on it.

Good boss do the reverse, they appreciate even your mistakes but nevertheless spitting it out and telling you. But they really do and see things in a brighter way.

Once my supervisor told me that  “if i can survive dealing with our boss, it is very easy for me to work with other boss”.  This will apply either you have a bad or a good boss.

Whatever it is that makes your job or work a friendly one, try to look for a diversions,

 Instead of thinking what’s gonna be your boss will say, think and do things right. We do mistakes, and if we do try to make it right and not to do the same mistake again

Appreciate your coworkers which are always in your side.

Be thankful that you are not like your boss who is hated by everyone.

Be grateful that you are not jobless.

Be nice to your boss even you don’t mean it that much coz at the end of the day you will be asking favor from him.

Count the good things that happen with you and your boss and not the bad experience.

Take those bad experiences as a reference on how you could be great.

But my best way of conquering an evil resurrected boss??? I always keep myself HAPPY in any ways…

just "I"

When I was young, I was impulsive,

I was cruel and stagnant,

I never think of anything positive,

All I want was someone who is dominant.

I have a hard time to unfold,

Thing that I haven’t told,

I want to reveal the secret,

But it always remains discreet.

I’m confuse,

I’m curious,

I’m delirious,

And I always refuse,

Can’t see the end of the road,

Can’t even figure out what’s written in my own board,

Can’t solved the puzzles,

Can’t find my way from this maze.

Now I’m truthfully matured,

Everything in my view is pleasant,

I learned to appreciate and nurtured,

Now I am the leader of my own heart and mind.

What I asked were answered,

What I discovered is all amazingly clear,

What I long to know are brightly configured,

What I need to do is just deeply bare.

I’m no illusion,

I’m accurate,

I’m certain,

I’m definite,

I see the future of my actuality,

What’s written in my book of life is full of clarity,

My Questions and troubles are solved just easy,

Finding the right solution is just like counting one, two three.

Happy thoughts make me happy,

Having me happy, I make someone happy,

Having someone happy, make the environment happy,

Having the world happy, I  just made a difference…
